PARADISE ISLAND POLICE RECEIVE GOLF CART DONATION

Assistant Superintendent Newbold, receives the keys for the golf cart from Robert Meister, Managing Director of Dolphin Encounters Ltd.
PARADISE ISLAND
The police force of the Paradise Island Police Station recently received a new vehicle to aid in the fight against crime. A golf cart donated by Dolphin Encounters Limited was presented to the station to be used as part of their patrol fleet.

“We are very pleased to receive this generous donation from Dolphin Encounters,” said Assistant Superintendent Newbold, Officer-in-Charge of the Paradise Island Police Station. “Paradise Island is an unusual district to patrol. We have hotels, residences, commercial buildings, apartment complexes and other structures all in a short distance from each other. Patrolling the area requires different vehicles and tactics - this cart will be used to cover densely populated areas.”

Dolphin Encounters corporate offices are located on Paradise Island. “Paradise Island is our business community and our employees and guests spend a great deal of time here,” said Robert Meister, managing director of Dolphin Encounters Ltd. “Partnering with our police is one way our firm can be a positive force in our business neighbourhood.”

The Paradise Island Police Department's fleet consists of patrol cars, a motorbike and bicycles - the golf cart is a welcome addition.

“Any way we can help protect our constituents we will,” adds Assistant Superintendent Newbold. “When businesses and individuals join forces with the police, we can all make a difference.”
