Take An Ocean Safari- Your Passport to Explore!

The Sea Lab is all about taking an ocean safari! This program is designed to enhance classroom lesson plans OR field trip activities to drive the message home: marine education is a fun adventure!

In the field trip program, students arrive at Dolphin Encounters via boat and head over to our education facilities- the Sea Lab. This program is a collection of presentations on the habitats and wildlife of the ocean combined with 2-hours of marine activities that promote kids to explore the Ocean.

Too little time in your schedule for a field trip? No problem! DE-Project BEACH will bring this marine adventure to your facility for your students. In the 1-hour outreach, our education staff will introduce your students to an ocean habitat and its unique creatures and features through hands-on activities.

The ocean activities for the Sea Lab program have been collected from marine scientists around the world. Tried and true, each activity of the Sea Lab focuses on learning science through investigation and understanding form, function and relationships of the wildlife and the ecosystem in which it resides.
Take an adventure and schedule a Sea Lab for your group today!

Sea Lab Offers Diverse Topics

Students explore a variety of Marine Ecosystems & Wildlife!

Do you want your lab to focus on dangerous predators of the sea? Mangrove habitats? Coral reef creatures? How about dolphins & whales? Or even creatures that roam the deep and open seas? It’s up to you! The Se Lab has enough activities to offer that you can choose the topic you’d like your kids to focus upon. This allows educators to utilize the lab to reinforce learning with hands-on activities.

This program is offered as a field trip to Dolphin Encounters on beautiful Blue Lagoon Island OR as an outreach program to your classroom.

Want your whole grade level to dive into the exploration? Then schedule each class back to back. Take the plunge and put marine adventure into your education plan!
