Blue Lagoon Island is currently not open every day. Our schedule changes from week to week, so please check our website reservations page or call our reservations team at 1-242-363-1003 or toll free 866-448-9535 to see which days we are open for Paradise Island departures during your visit.

 

What times do the ferries depart for Blue Lagoon Island?
At this time our ferry schedule to and from Blue Lagoon Island from Paradise Island varies from day to day. Please check your booking documents for the times. If there is a change required, our team will reach out to you ahead of time.

 

What is included?

Our Beach Day includes the roundtrip boat ride, beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach (when wind conditions permit), access to the Inflatable Aqua Park, safe swim areas monitored by certified lifeguards, and access to the marine park to observe our dolphins, sea lions and stingrays. It also includes our buffet lunch and a soft drink from the Shifting Tides Dining Pavillion.

 

How can I pay?
You can pay online on our website, over the phone with a credit card or you can visit our Welcome Center at #1 Marina Place on Paradise Island.

 

Can I pay with cash?
Yes you can pay for your tickets with cash and you can use cash or credit card for any purchases at the Welcome Center on Paradise Island or while on Blue Lagoon Island.

 

Can I pay the day of the trip?
While we do accept walk up bookings and payment on the day of, please note that the only way to guarantee a booking on a busy day is to pre-pay.

 

Is parking available?
No, parking is not provided at our Welcome Center but is available at the surrounding paid parking lots.

 

What should I bring?
You should bring face masks, hand sanitizer, towels, sunblock, water shoes if you have them, a rash guard to wear under your life jacket on the Aqua Park as well as cash or credit/debit cards for purchasing incidentals while on island.

 

Can I take off my mask once I get on the boat?
No, masks must be worn throughout the check-in process on Paradise Island and for the entire duration of the ferry ride as well as at all times while on the Island except when on the beach, seated for lunch or while participating in one of our animal programs.

 

Can I bring juices and other special drinks?
No outside beverages are allowed on the Island.

 

Can I bring a cake if celebrating a birthday?
We love helping you celebrate. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a cake so we can ensure your space is set up appropriately.

 

Can I bring balloons if celebrating a birthday?
No, balloons are not allowed on the Island as they pose a safety risk to our marine life.

 

Will there be alcoholic drinks on sale?
Yes, our bars are open serving up both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

Will your gift shop be open?
Yes, our gift shops are open for purchasing towels, snacks and soft drinks, beachwear, beach toys souvenirs and all other necessary beach items.

 

What is your cancellation policy?
We operate, rain or shine. Dolphin Encounters Ltd. will NOT refund for inclement weather unless we cancel the excursion. In such an event, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your booking.
Due to limited space availability, Dolphin Encounters will not allow cancellations or rescheduling less than 24-hours before program time. Cancellations made before the 24-hour period will be eligible for rebooking or a refund. In the event of no-show or cancellation within the 24-hour period, no refunds will be issued.
