Snorkel through crystal-clear waters surrounded by colorful marine life and captivating underwater sculptures as dolphins swim, play, and glide effortlessly nearby.  You'll witness these intelligent animals displaying their natural behaviors in a peaceful environment, creating a truly magical and memorable experience.

Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or trying it for the first time, the Underwater Wonders & Dolphin Snorkel combines breathtaking scenery, marine education, and the rare opportunity to observe dolphins in a natural setting—all without disturbing these remarkable animals.

Please note: For the safety and well-being of our dolphins, this is a non-contact experience.   Guests are not permitted to touch or interact physically with the dolphins.

Additional Information

  • Restrictions

    • Pregnant women are not allowed in this program.
    • Guests ages 10 to 12 must be accompanied in the water by a responsible, ticketed parent/guardian participating in the Underwater Wonders & Dolphin Snorkel program. Parent/guardian must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Guests ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied on the island by a parent/guardian (with ticket in any program).
    • Guests must have the ability to go up and down stairs to access lagoon.  
    • No drones, scuba equipment or metal detectors are allowed on the island. 
    • Snorkel equipment is provided, and is for use during the scheduled dolphin program only.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24-hours prior to the booked program. Groups may require a longer cancellation period depending on size.
    • No refunds will be issued for guests that do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies.
    • Blue Lagoon Island reserves the right, under certain circumstances, to omit specific behaviors or interactions from the animal programs.

Policies

  • Resident ID Verification
    • All guests booking with a resident rate must present a valid Bahamian government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in.
    • Failure to present valid resident ID will result in rebooking at the standard (non-resident) rate, subject to availability.
    • No exceptions will be made without proper identification at check-in.
  • Present Credit Card and ID at Time of Check-In
    • The cardholder of the credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in and show valid photo ID.
    • The same credit card used during the online booking must be physically presented by the cardholder.
      • If the credit card is not presented, the guest will be required to pay again onsite. The original payment will be refunded in full to the card used during booking.
    • Refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on the card issuer.
    • The cardholder will be required to sign a manual credit card authorization form at check-in.
  • Cruise Line Guest Instructions
    • Guests arriving via Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, or Carnival Cruise Line must contact their ship’s Shore Excursions Desk directly for reservations, assistance, or changes to their booking.
    • Blue Lagoon Island is unable to modify or manage reservations made through these cruise lines.

  • Cancellation Policy
    Cancellation & Refund Policy
    • Reservations canceled 24 hours or less prior to the program date are non-refundable.
    • Groups of 10 or more participants are subject to the group cancellation terms outlined in their contract.

    • No refunds will be issued to guests who are unable to participate due to age restrictions, physical fitness limitations, pregnancy, or violations of company policy. Please review the RESTRICTIONS listed in each program description prior to booking.
    • All bookings are non-refundable unless Dolphin Encounters Ltd. cancels the excursion due to unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of payments made will be provided.
    • Dolphin Encounters Ltd. reserves the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Guests are strictly prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages or coolers onto the island. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and not returned, and no compensation will be provided.
