Normally valued at $48, the package offers a near-40 percent discount and a 100 percent guaranteed good time.
It would be nearly impossible to make a trip to Blue Lagoon Island without noticing some of its famous residents. The Dolphin Encounters family of 18 are always around, performing tricks, playing and popping up to say hello to their visitors. The Dolphin Encounter program gives participants the chance to meet and greet Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. The program starts with an educational orientation covering the history of dolphins, the importance of ocean conservation and various animal training techniques. During the encounter, visitors stand on a waist-deep submerged platform where they touch and hug one of the Dolphin Encounters family. An experienced trainer stands on the platform encouraging the dolphin to perform for guests.
